For the glory of the mothercompany!

Posted: April 13, 2006 in Uncategorized

Every so often, my company churns out internal propaganda publications to drive home whatever point the latest focus group has come up with. Heavy card booklets extolling teamwork and ethical business practices, done in company-standard colors and typefonts developed by a highly-paid graphic artist for maximum market impact. This time it was a desktop calendar with various slogans peppered through it. The difference is that they put my photo in it. I’m now almost literally a corporate poster boy.

Oh, the irony.

The corporate internal user profile site, or as I’m coming to think of it, CorpSpace. They really should just turn it into an internal dating website. They could even let people schedule dates as meetings in the corporate calendar app.
