Being single after over a year and a half of a positive, evolving relationship is so very odd. It’s like coming out of the theater after a midsummer matinee of a long, epic movie. You’ve spent hours sitting in climate-controlled comfort, absorbed in something so different and compelling, and suddenly it ends and you’re left standing in the parking lot, dazed, blinking at the sun, not quite sure where to go or where you parked your car. You know you need to shift gears, but your mind is still dwelling in the movie.

What did my life look like again?

that was more like being hit by a mac truck than walking out of a theater. but fortunatly i have had and made some new good friends along the way that have made that not as terrible and frightening as it could have been šŸ™‚

sounds like everything ended on a positive note though?

A very positive note. It’s more of a downgrade than a breakup.

      I agree.

take your time, dont put the car into gear just yet. Look around and find what you want/need again for YOU.

I want the best for both of you.

    Lots of rum, and fun.
