Posted: April 25, 2005 in Uncategorized

I dare you to be able to tell me what this job does:

“As our Senior Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Solutions Analyst, you’ll perform and facilitate EDI interface analysis, development, testing and implementations from source to target with partners and the team, ensuring consistency with corporate strategies. You’ll also identify and request information, assistance and/or tools needed to fulfill job responsibilities. You’ll review timelines, specifications, requirements, processes, project plans and procedures. You’ll also collaborate with internal and external business partners to define global business processes and information requirements by building on industry best practices and EDI standards. In addition, you’ll develop, recommend and implement best practices and quality processes that produce repeatable and predictable results.”

at least part of it is being osg’s bitch when there are edi problems

my experience with working with balram…was that he worked with the conversion tables…converting the info from the distributors and mapping to yellow suit oracle fields

on paper? you make sure the stuff they make/design/do is in line with company policy/procedures/goals/mission statements. You have lots of meetings. In reality, you write TPS reports and have lots of meetings, wherein they use big words that no one understands but everyone pretends to.
