Just discovered my new router supports 802.11g and WPA encryption (802.1x shared key). Which effectively eliminates the need for implimenting an external access point for true wireless security.

So very non-suck.

[edit:] And apparently it’s Linux-based. The one main downside is the management is all cleartext http or telnet… If I can just figure out how to get OpenSSH, vi, and possibly even OpenSSL on it, I’m in business.
