Sitting here, drinking a beer, listening to The Cure, and reading well-written tales of a man travelling the world by bike for some reason makes me optimistic and happy. There is much to be glad for in my past, and even more to be had in the future.

How on earth can you listen to The Cure and be “optimistic and happy”?
Don’t get me wrong…they got some GREAT tunes. But happy??? Optimistic??? That’s like saying “the Go-Go’s make me feel melancholy.” Or “listening to Nine Inch Nails makes me appreciate the beauty of flowers on a spring morning.”
I want whatever beer you’re having.
    😉

Killian’s Red. Their new motto: “Makes even The Cure seem happy-go-lucky”. 😉
Also, Pictures Of You kicked in at one point after my photo slideshow screensaver went off. One of those syncronistic moments.
